This is an earlier piece from 2009 that I still really love where I used energetic brush strokes to create a sense of movement. There are three birds flapping their wings and I’ve never been sure what type of birds, perhaps hummingbirds, as they are so fast that if you blink you miss them. This piece was painted with acrylic paints on a 16x20 gallery wrap canvas, embellished with gold leaf, and comes in a black wooden frame.
