This lovely Grove Snail was created in acrylics on a 10 inch diameter canvas specifically for the Under Our Feet show at the Sooke Arts Council from February 26-April 13, 2025. Based on a my original photo taken around the Broomhill area in Sooke, British Coumbia. I had never seen a snail with its shell in tact before and I was struck by the spiral pattern and the various brownish/golden colors.
 
Painted in heavy body acrylics, this piece truly captures the beauty of Grove Snails. Can be shipped through Canada Post, picked up for free or delivered for free within Sooke BC.
